Trained by Naveen, a Senior SOC Analyst
Naveen has spent over 6.5 years working in cybersecurity operations, covering threat monitoring, incident investigation, and day-to-day security analysis inside live SOC environments. He still works actively in the field, which means the case studies he brings into class are from the same week, not a textbook written five years ago.
Over three-plus years of teaching alongside that job, he has mentored more than 800 students, and over 200 of them have moved into cybersecurity roles at companies ranging from mid-sized MSSPs to large enterprises. He teaches in three stages: breaking down networking and security fundamentals into plain language, giving students direct hands-on time with enterprise tools, and — in the final stretch of the course — focusing almost entirely on resumes, mock technical interviews, and interview confidence.
